The win not only brought glory to the home side but also showed their readiness for the upcoming SAB League season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head Coach Bafana \u201cMjwaro\u201d Dhlomo said his ambitions for Barcelona FC go far beyond local tournaments. \u201cMy wish is to see this team in the Motsepe League one day and to see our players progress to professional football. With support from our community that dream can become reality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tournament began with two fiercely contested semifinals. Barcelona FC edged Young Guns 5-4 on penalties after a tense 1-1 draw, while Abracadabra FC advanced comfortably with a 3-0 win over Delpark United. The stage was set for an electrifying final between the hosts and the visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barcelona found themselves trailing 2-1 at halftime, but a spirited team talk from Dhlomo sparked a powerful response. Led by standout forward Sphiwe \u201cFidosi\u201d Mgidi who netted a brace, Barcelona stormed back to secure the 4\u20132 victory, with additional goals from Ncobi Ndlovu and Tshepo \u201cKhanari\u201d Sibiya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dhlomo also praised the tournament\u2019s value for his team\u2019s development. \u201cWe\u2019ll use the money to support the team as we head into the SAB  League since we don\u2019t have sponsors yet. I\u2019m doing my best from my own pocket because I love football, but we\u2019d appreciate any help from supporters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite their loss, Abracadabra FC\u2019s assistant coach Sabata Mosala, remained proud of his side\u2019s overall performance and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy team was on a good standard for the day. We managed to score five goals in the tournament but fatigue caught up with us in the final,\u201d said Mosala. \u201cWe allowed Barcelona too much space on the wings, and they punished us.
