MIDDELBURG –<\/strong> One of the suspects implicated in the Laersdrift farm homicide case, Stephan Wilson from Malawi, finds himself in a state of uncertainty after his Chichewa language interpreter abruptly left the courtroom earlier today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also understood that the case has been delayed due to the pending submission of a docket to the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case was postponed last Tuesday, 10 September, to today due to the unavailability of the interpreter and for the formal bail application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wilson, along with farm owner Reinhardt Steyn, Chriswell Masilela, and Dumisani Luthuli, is charged with murder, assault, kidnapping, and malicious damage to property. This follows the discovery of the burnt bodies of Thembeni Mnguni and Wanda Mahlangu, who had been reported missing, under a bridge on Van Dyksdrift Road in Middelburg a fortnight ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A vehicle believed to belong to Mnguni was also found torched not far from where the bodies were discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
