An Afrikaans translator was unavailable as he had to attend another court session; a new translator will replace him on Monday. Badenhorst, head of security at Argent, faces charges of murder in connection with the death of Mzwakhe Hlatshwayo, as well as attempted murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the police, on March 22, 2024, they were called, along with Emergency Medical Services personnel, to a farm where they found a woman with gunshot wounds. Subsequently, they discovered the body of a male individual, identified as Hlatshwayo, with multiple gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simphiwe Innocent Masombuka expressed his feelings after the court proceedings: &#8220;I am so happy that justice will be served, and racist whites will learn they cannot mess with black people. If Badenhorst is granted bail on Monday, justice would have failed us,&#8221; he said. Boy Monate, a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), commented on the bail decision, &#8220;From what I can see, I don&#8217;t think the murder accused will be granted bail due to the strong objections and evidence presented by the police investigator.
